Fire in Woodstock — We Will Respond, But Not Alone

On the morning of March 25th, a fire left 32 Woodstock families homeless.? While the McHenry County Housing Authority is working hard to find apartments for them, these families need help to recover many facets of their lives.

Resurrection Parish is working to address a critical need for many families: the re-furnishing of homes which were not covered by insurance.? We are being joined by St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Zion Harvest Church,?and Grace Lutheran Church in our effort to bring some measure of hope to people who have been hit hardest by the fire.? We are hoping that other Woodstock faith communities will also respond.

On Holy Thursday, the traditional offering collected for Resurrection Outreach was dedicated to this special Outreach project.? Contributions are still welcome.
